The brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Kappa Psi chapter, sticking to their commitment to the community, volunteered their time to the S.H.A.R.E. Food Network during the month of February. As a food distribution volunteer the brothers loaded trucks and vans at the warehouse bay doors. The trucks and vans are owned and operated by churches, schools, and non-profit organizations that distribute food to the sick and shut-in, homeless families, and students.
The S.H.A.R.E. warehouse center distributes over 10,000 high quality, affordable, nutritious food packages a month. Additionally, they partner with over 300 community organizations, with the purpose of helping people in their own communities.
The brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Kappa Psi chapter have established a working relationship with the S.H.A.R.E. volunteer coordinators and will continue to provide volunteer services throughout the year.
